There can be few new buildings where the client actually owns the main resources for the building, as Yale’s school of forestry did. When Hopkins Architects learnt about the plantations of red oak, it specified them for the interior of the building, to glorious effect.

So this is not an example that could be followed on many buildings, but a delightful achievement all the same.
