Ruth Slavid talks architecture

Survival tips

Posted in management by ruthslavid on June 24, 2010

I’m going tonight to a reception to celebrate publication of the report ‘Thriving in 2010’ which I edited earlier this year.  Of course, since I wrote it we have had an election and a change of government, but luckily the lessons from the report still apply – architects and engineers need to run their business professionally and be flexible and adaptable if they are to make a go of things. Those who are doing this intelligently can hope to considering the future as ‘challenging’ rather than calamitous.
