Ruth Slavid talks architecture

New bog standard

I came across the x-runner in a presentation that architect dRMM produced, following their trip to Mumbai with UKTI and the Dialogue Group.

It’s a portable toilet for use in places with no current sanitation, and little chance of any access. You remove the ‘workings’ seal them up, roll it along to the disposal point, where it is converted into biogas. Brilliant! Not sure it could solve the shortage problems that have led to the cancellation of Glastonbury though.
